Here's a couple trailers for wrestling/romance anime KICK-HEART!!!

Here's the first "official trailer" for the pro-wrasslin' romance anime short Kick-Heart. This short film by visionary director Masaaki Yuasa (Mind Game, Samurai Champloo) and the fine folks at production IG was funded by a legion of Kickstarter backers, including me! So yeah, "Produced by GhettoManga" is only an exaggeration, and not a complete lie... so anyways, peep:

Since it cuts off in the middle of something happening, I will assume this is actually more of a teaser, with more trailers to come... or something. So check out this one they dropped for the Japanese premier! It gets it in a little better...

If this is your first time hearing about Kick-Heart, here's the Sales pitch: 

Kick-Heart is a love story featuring Romeo (a successful pro wrestler) and Juliet (a nun who leads a secret double life as a female pro wrestler). Romeo's secret is that he enjoys taking a beating in the ring, while Juliet feels invigorated when facing her opponents as a wrestler. When the two meet in the ring, the fireworks fly. Their story is set in the colorful backdrop of the professional wrestling world. Will Juliet reveal her true identity to the one she loves? Will Romeo be able to share his secret to the world?

Dope... 

The "World Premiere" will be on June 10th at the Annecy Film Festival. I will NOT be there, but I'm gonna get a download of the flick, so I'm good.
