Evaristo Felice Dall'Abaco (1675-1742) a major figure in Italian Baroque instrumental music. Is believed to have been a student of Torelli. He served the German Elector Maximilian II Emanuel and his successor for many years as Concert Master. His surviving music was published in six collections between 1708 and 1735, and includes many concertos along with chamber and church sonatas.
